Medal Text:
Awarded to pilots who participated in some contributory fashion consistent with LUMEN's goals and purposes during the Anath system Relief Effort in Aridia, whether through logistics, donations, ground support, Search and Rescue (SAR) efforts, space combat support, reconsecration, prayer, or morale.
"....the subsurface colony town of Ca'lik'bar on Anath II was totally depopulated by the first wave of Blood Raiders. Other self-contained colony towns and cities on the barren world of Anath II fared similarly according to initial reports. Colonies on the temperate world of Anath IV were also attacked, and allegedly bombed with chemical weapons using the "Deathglow" hallucinogen."

Luna's Comments:
Following the Blood Raider attacks in the Anath system in March YC 121, LUMEN deployed a humanitarian response to the system to aid the victims on Anath II and IV.
Initial teams included SAR personnel, first responders, and a logistical deployment to facilitate the supply of humanitarian relief were promptly deployed as LUMEN first responders were quickly on the scene; with members of LUMEN’s extensive medical staff and aid workers deployed thereafter. While initial reports suggest that affected colonies on Anath II had few survivors, search and rescue efforts - and recovery efforts - were undertaken.
LUMEN assisted with treatment of Deathglow-affected individuals on Anath IV. Relief supplies were delivered, and temporary refugee housing was set up. Our medical teams set up several centers where those in need of care are being treated.
Despite some tensions between certain parties in the Anath system, cooler heads largely prevailed . All donations are thoroughly screened to ensure that they are safe for use by the survivors.
Help was also recieved from sources outside of LUMEN from those who have helped us with aid, supplies and other assistance. In particular, LUMEN thanks Alizabeth and Arrendis for providing a stable platform for aid efforts in the Anath system. LUMEN thanks PIE and the the Cleristie Auxilieri, baseliner clerical personnel associated with Archbishop Baracca, who volunteered their time to help LUMEN. LUMEN also thanks the Sisters of the Hearth for their help with those who were orphaned. LUMEN thanks capsuleers Cain Aloga, Diana Kim, Sitaara Hai, and all the other capsuleers who donated materials to the relief effort, some putting aside their differences to do so. LUMEN thanks the Most Reverend Calavan Vykus who will seek to continue the ministry in Constantin Baracca’s stead to the survivors.
While not widely known to the public, LUMEN had a personal connection with the Anath system, SFRIM Directrix Lunarisse Daphiti spent her earliest years in a domed colony on the storm planet of Anath V until a Blood Raider attack destroyed the colony, killing her parents. It is an unfortunate reality that the region has long been a striking point for Blood Raiders from Delve, and we mourn that once again, despite the best efforts of the brave men and women of the Imperial Navy, these vile heretics and pirates have left suffering and sorrow in their wake.
