AAR: Khimi Harar formed a fleet of 53 pilots with the main body comprised of Typhoons and Armageddons outfitted with Torpedo Launchers supported by a Guardian wing for the defense of Tebu Amkhiman. I-RED brought a fleet of Ravens and PNS debuted their new Stormbringer doctrine while the Amarr militia mustered an assortment of skirmish vessels. The LUMEN fleet was prepared to engage a heavy Leshak doctrine, such as the one Ushra'Khan deployed for Tebu Amkhiman's shield timer. U'K, however, brought a Cruise Missile Typhoon doctrine supported by Oneiroses and Exequrors. Khimi Harar set up at a down tactical in anticipation of Ushra'Khan's chosen location for the shield timer. U'K warped to the grid but not to the bottom of Fortizar, choosing instead to deploy behind it. The initial warp-in for Khimi Harar was onto an Oneiros and not a mainline battleship, costing 20KM of space by the time the lead elements of the LUMEN fleet landed. During this time, fleet rearrangement delays and an overestimation of the ability of the Torpedo Typhoons to catch Ushra'Khan cost Khimi Harar 6 Typhoons for a single Ushra'Khan Exequror that had fallen behind the fleet. LUMEN pinged to a new tactical to "reset." Fortune turned in favor of the defenders, however, when several things happened in rapid succession: First, I-RED's Raven fleet destroyed the Ushra'Khan anchor, which resulted in the U'K fleet turning to re-anchor. Second, during this turn maneuver, the LUMEN fleet warped directly to the Ushra'Khan fleet. Third, PNS' Stormbringers began spreading damage across the Ushra'Khan fleet. In the second engagement, Khimi Harar traded two additional Typhoons for nine Ushra'Khan Typhoons and an Oneiros. Ushra'Khan then evacuated the field and the combined defense fleet warped to the Trust Partners Station in Tanoo to camp the aggressors on the undock, resulting in several frigate and pod kills to no allied losses.

Amazing turn-out! We had new pilots, main-line pvp pilots, carebears, and old veterans return to the field, all to help defend the Fortizar, in LUMEN's darkest hour up to this time.
