Medal Text:
Awarded to a Winner of the New Eden Capsuleer's Writing Contest "Academic" Category.
The Gold and Black Colors of the ribbon are representive of the Societas Imperialist Sceptri Coronaeque, the Corporation of the Contest Organizer Lunarisse Aspenstar Daphiti.
The Medallion itself shows an Achuran Stargazer lantern rising aloft from a Stargazer's grasp to the heavens.
The Medallion is minted in Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Place.
The Stargazers are a type of Achuran spiritualism that eschews supernatural revelation in favor of a philosophy that aims to understand the world through observation and contemplation of the stars.
Stargazer festivals are held in darkness. Only shrouded red-light lanterns are permitted. At the end of a Stargazer gathering, it is traditional to unshroud the lanterns and send them aloft by various means to symbolize the insights the Stargazers have garnered being sent out to the wider universe.
