With the increasing number of pilots committed to Syndicate endeavors, LUMEN looked to expand. The border systems of M2-CF1 contained two opportunities for expansion, held by the now decaying United Fleet alliance. Initial negotiations were promising, but after they broke down, a more aggressive stance was adopted. A cluster-spanning feat of logistics shifted massive amounts of war material to Syndicate, coalescing into mighty fleets. After an initial sortie with Kikimoras, a Typhoon fleet sallied forth on 02.22.23 in the face of daunting competition being rallied by two lowsec pirate blocs. But when one of these abruptly turned on the other, the SynCo fleet diverted to enter the brawl itself. The pitched battle turned swiftly to a rout within minutes, and the victorious armada sailed back home to complete the demolition of the enemy moons.
“Pratya yavati, phirm ilenge.”
Syndicate patois, which translates to “Goodbye, see you later.” These became the names of the LUMEN Athanors.
